It's a blessing that Grandma Phillips didn't live long enough to lose both Norma & Rose. It would have been too much for her to have handled at her age. She always said she didn't want to live long enough to lose anymore of her kid's. Losing my dad was hard enough and of course Grandma & Grandpa never did get over losing dad. A parent never gets over losing a child! Grandpa blocked my dad death's out and asked Grandma one day if Bobby was Rose's boy. Grandma told him that Bobby is Bob & Louise's boy. She asked Grandpa if he remembered them and he said he didn't believe he did. It was just too painful so Grandpa blocked it from his memory.
